Import rule explained for vlr

When the player joins the ILs that player is allowed to chose between all eligible # residencies eg. Russ closing between pacific and emea. Once a player decides on their IL residency it is permanent for their whole playing career. 1 import is allowed per team, 2 in tier 2. As something only had access to Russian citizenship he was only allowed to be an emea resident, hence an import for prx.

Nope he is Indian. From Goa. Most likely, he acquired Indian citizenship or something.

Apparently not. I have a couple Indian origin soccer friends who couldn't trial for India's national youth team cz they would have to give up their British passport.

there is something called oci
if you are of indian origin(either born your partner) and not from their neighbours(ban n pak) you can get an indian citizenship
