Everyone comes from different backgrounds, which means what we consider "normal" varies from person to person. This difference is often what makes accents amusing to some, rather than an indication of racism.
I think people get in their feelings a little to much, I'm 28 and Mexican so maybe my culture and upbringing was dif but my family parties or childhood hangs with friends revolved around 50% of the conversation involving some type of "smack talk". Most of the time people are just trying to "chop it up" and be silly no malice behind it. IDK nowadays everyone takes everything so personal its kinda weird.
