REAL SOUTH ASIA PROBLEM

ALL those demanding GE to field a full 5 man indian roster can have a look at this- (ain't reading allat + haters can leave)

Lets look at some young talents teams but are they really good?-

1. Current players of grayfox esports- panzer asdf melody ayanq badlove - WASHED AF been cycling around orgs since 2022 lost to a random pakistani 5 stack in tourney despite of having previous bleed and gods reign coach (1 of best coach in india) losing to a team despite of huge ping advantage and bootcamp, it is inexcusable so count them out for contention into ge squad ever
   2. current players of Goblin defenders - looked promising definetly deserves an org in south asia but they havent even entered tier 1 South asia - need a coach + org, out for contention for 2024 surely for ge squad.

NOW LETS LOOK AT SOME YOUNG players that indians demand to be in team -

now the problem -
1 tricky saun and dc are underage
2 As stated by GE ceo you cannot be in indian university and be applying for korean business visa, kohli was offered to be in ge team but he already joined uni
3 GAMING is still very high risk and these young guns are not willing to risk their education for a GE experiment.
OUR AUDIENCE ALWAYS BASHES GE FOR not taking any young guns, but are young players really ready to comit to korea? Does visa problem and their families allow that ? if we look lightning fast was ready to take a break for studies <yes possibly the best player from india whose slot + salary were secured>

WHICH players are left????
OHH MY GOD WE ARE LEFT ULTIMATELY WITH THE GOOD OLD BOOMERS OF CSGO which we know would be a waste to spent money on.

THE SOLUTION ?
1.make academy team that visits korea each month for a week to practise with different playstyles and get insights from franchised coach ( requires only tourist visa)

3. i will get hate for this but pak players seem to have tactical depth +mechanics but same visa problem
4. GET some indian player like zephe into mix just for training as anyways he is 15 and cannot compete in south asia

I THINK GE CEO HAS NO CHOICE, someone mentioned they are turning profitable , he is paying huge sums of money and wants to be close to contenders,I AM sure investors would slam him if he makes another dfm but worse.It is better for ge to get sucess as org first with 1 indian in roster and then slowly start injecting indian players.
THEY are already hosting tourneys like underground to look for underdogs

WE SHOULD REALLY FOCUS ON BRINGING UP THE GAME IN OUR OWN REGION and make it competitive, one sided wins like OG makes them comfortable and look how overconfident they went into assension. IF we somehow get close game in assension + ge performs we get the audience that left SA valo and went for international, and more local tourneys will be organised

If they choose to go with 5 Indian Players, 11th place at best

I feel sorry for my Indian brothers for saying it's better for the region if GE goes full Indian roster

I'm really proud of India for losing all of the matches at APAC when we were already given so many chances but still can't improve, please don't waste the spot on us anymore🗿

This is what I always said about making a GE squad with 5 Indians, it doesn't make sense from a CEO Pov like Rushi Sir, who knows Indian esports scene for so long. If I were in his place, I would prefer the orgs betterment even if it means no Indians in roaster.
Also, it's a business not a dharmsala where they give chance to prove yourself, if you want to prove play premiere and win ascension gl.

we went like 0-4 with all international players before we recovered some of it in the end. I'd like to go 0-4 with Indian players. LATAM players or JP players werent strong initially too until they had 1 year to actually play with their team at the highest level. JP teams are still not highly rated but the top team was formed. You are literally advocating for a region to die just to appease to some imaginary short term rewards which are not there. Long term projects take time but are rewarding. Players dont have incentive so they dont play, leading to society in India not letting cracked zoomers to spend time on it, leading to no strength.

But, I do agree on other points regarding Indian families offering no support.

make a 10 man roster like eg, then do an open tryout for the reserve team. I mean ge phoenix did well right?

feel like I need to comment here to clarify a few things. The GrayFox boys were not with me when they lost and the Pakistani stack they lost to is comprised of actual talents, not overly hyped ones. I am helping them but I will not be biased in any of my views regarding anyone, like always.

Also, I agree that most of you view them as washed. But, I think everyone, even those you consider washed, deserve chances, if not your respect, if they are putting in hours way beyond what is considered a minimum requirement. Only a handful make it to franchise. That doesn't invalidate the other players and their passion for the game.

They might be going from org to org but if you ever sit down with them for a week, you will realize they harbour the same passion as anyone, even the ones you think are good or great.

The best a player or any aspiring member of the community can do is to put in hours efficiently. Also, as washed up as any player in our region is, if they can still improve, want to improve and are taking steps in order to make sure they improve, I think they deserve a chance.

Washed up or not, you do things the right way for the right motivation, you deserve a chance.

As for the GE conundrum, I believe GE should be free of any limitations and be allowed to take any decisions. When we talk about Indian representation, why is it always limited to the players? Aren't staff, members of management and others deserving of falling under the same criteria?

Whether GE have an Indian player or not, they are still an Indian organization and will continue to be so, unless things change someday. They have a choice to make between success and uplifting the Indian community, according to us. However, bringing in success will also aid the community's development. You have a choice as well. You can choose to support an Indian org because they represent India or choose not to simply because they don't have enough Indian players. Everyone has a choice.

Getting talent in India is extremely hard as a lot of families prefer their kid to study and these types of jobs are generally frowned upon or not supported by people close to you unless you’re making a shit load of money. There is also the fact that a lot of people in India don’t have access to a computer or laptop to play games on.
