M80 SPOT

What do you guys think about M80 getting the spot instead of no team at all if The Guard players signing to a different org isn't feasible at all. I am getting jumped on valcomp reddit for suggesting it. ( I do think Guard players allowed to sign to a different org should be the first priority, if it's not possible at all then the second best option would be M80 getting the spot instead)

I like the M80 players but if anything give M80 the spot and make them pick up the guard players, the players made it in the end and the org was still successful in ascension

It's not a valid solution because Riot didn't put it in the rules when designing ascension. Putting it now out of nowhere seems wrong.

M80 spot should be a MUST because if they get a spot this would increase The Guard players chances to be on Tier 1

best scenario the guard gets dsq so m80 gets slot and "coincidentally" sign the whole guard roster

sure but all of the guard players + coach should be picked up by m80 then

No, Guard players should be given the spot and another organization should be given the opportunity to sign them

The players were the ones who earned that spot, not the organization

m80 with the guard roster is fine imo. as much as i like m80 and their roster and think they deserved to win just as much as the guard, the fact is they lost fair and square and letting them in when the guard roster is in shambles just invalidates that whole tournament. letting m80 in just to complete the 11 teams in region while the guard roster is probably distributed to other teams isnt fair to them, cos the scenario should have been guard roster getting in and m80 roster picked apart
