as an analyst during their stay at Champions.
Following the conclusion of Champions and amid a series of roster shuffles, qpert signed with Cloud9 alongside solidified talent such as Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker, Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro, and Matthew "mCe" Elmore to form a new and improved C9 roster ahead of 2023's LOCK//IN tournament.
However, after a lackluster performance at LOCK//IN, C9 began making roster changes as they bid farewell to yay and former in-game leader Anthony "vanity" Malaspina in hopes of better results ahead of Masters: Tokyo and Champions. Unfortunately, the team was unable to qualify for either event, always coming one or two matches short of the international stage.
Now, with their 2023 season finished, C9 have allowed qpert to explore his opportunities outside the team in preparation for next year.
