IMO it was the DrDisrespect being banned on Twitch thing that was about where he started getting a lot of hate. Slasher claimed that he knew why Disrespect got banned but refused to elaborate. Slasher's whole announcement spawned a couple of copypastas and I see them pretty much every time that he's brought up anywhere.
