I just played csgo after 9 years

It felt good to be back. However, I just feel like I'm sliding for some reason, it almost feels like I have to counter strafe a lot compared to valo where you can stop and fire in a split second which is kinda weird. I also got an insane 73% headshot rate, it seems like it's easier to tap heads for some reason. Also it seems that more people are talking in faceit and mm compared to valorant.

yup you will glide in cs if you leave the A key for example after pressing it which is not the case for valorant

for me its the opposite on val i feel like aiming is a lot easier, in cs if i dont play for a while my muscle memory is s fucked up and i cant hit shit but in Val its a lot more effortless to 1 tap and aim in general

thats normal w/o counterstraffing CS has around 22 frames to completely stop momentum while val only has 8 (when running at 60 fps). Counterstraffing in val doesn't actually matter. When compared to CS you're probably just noticing the difference.
