KRU and LCQ situation

if KRU ends up winning LCQ then americas truly is doomed. LOUD won VCT Americas easily, barely using new strats and repeating a lot of cards, only to get embarrassed at tokyo going 0-2.

Now KRU who went 0-9 is one game away of winning LCQ so we might as well accept that our region is doomed. If a team like KRU can beat C9 (allegedly top 4 in our region) even NAVI might clear this region apart from Loud and NRG

What about EG? What ahout NRG? Both team got slow start and actually achieved something at Tokyo. Kru could be the same, bad season then good LCQ.

you’re right. but although KRU has improved it feels like every other team is the same as they were in the normal run. Other iterations of KRU were better and they didnt won shit so i dont see this one going past LCQ too

I can point out NRG also who went deep while all EMEA teams (not FNC) got grouped, fact is NA has the stronger teams parity-wise but FNC is better than all. As a region, NA > EMEA imo if we ignore FNC dominance.

nah LOUD was so terrible in tokyo that it goes beyond strats. There is nothing a brain can do if you cant hit your shots and use your util correctly. Everything seemed out of place.

even tho kru went 0-9 in the split their games where very very close they just couldnt close it out
i was expecting kru to do good but i didnt expect them to beat lev, they def look like they got their shit together

please acknowledge that kru has improved exponentially since the first split and that if they win lcq, they more than deserve to be in champions. the fact that they have gone from 0-9 to making the grand finals of lcq should say a lot about how strong this team is and what they are capable of. each player has stepped up levels, individually, and they will for sure put up a formidable run at champions. just because you don’t like this team or are oblivious to their potential doesnt mean that they will be a bad representative for our region; give them the benefit of the doubt, just like we did for eg.
