Given if Valorant is still kicking by then, do you think Japan will become a Valorant superpower at that time?

nah, probably a lot more competitive on the international stage but not a super power imo
probably not they arenttreally superpowers in any other esport titles except maybe the fighting games scene or tetris or maybe even speedrunning if u count that as an esport
ofcorse by the shit loads of views whey pulling then for sure they will have atleast 1 decent team.
problem with japan even in cs was that Laz was really the only person who could compete vs the international teams, takej has stepped up on valorant mechanics wise but I think his game sense is really lacking. except from that maybe crow gets a pass for igling but the other 3/6 are just way too weak, but there's not any other great japanese talent to step into those roles, maybe they should mix with korea more.
takej actually got pretty good towards the end of Absolute's time in CS because I believe he graduated high school and could dedicate more time to the game. It just happened right before they switched to valorabt
ahh okay, I just remember that whole team being the Laz show. still think Laz is by far the only complete player everyone else has major flaws
Do you really think Valorant might be as interesting as it is right now in 5 Years?
Look LoL as an example. I really see a future to Valorant with more agents, a deeper map pool and a ban system.
The popularity of League of Legends in Brazil is massive but not necessarily their pro teams are good
Popularity doesn't matter. Nobody plays nor watches valorant in Russia but Gambit is stronk
