Rank reset is frustrating to casual fans

I would like to preface this by mentioning that I currently work 50+ hour work weeks in a factory. This means that I only really have time or energy for a couple games a week

last act I was Ascendant 1 before rank reset

for my 5 placement games I averaged a 1.20 k/d and 28% hsp. I won all 5 games including 3 extremely close matches where I was clearly the difference maker

I was placed platinum 3. Despite being ranked ascendant for multiple acts in a row and playing insane during my placement games.

With how little time I have to play the game I really feel disheartened by the fact that I have to play many games soloq'ing up just to get back to the rank that I know I 100% deserve

alright thanks for the feedback for the next update rito will introduce "Stamina system/resin system" like genshin does.

now you don't need to worry because everyone have maximum 5 stamina/resins=5 games
thanks for the great feedback. oh btw you can buy stamina with VP only at 500 valorant points/1 stamina

Skill issue respectfully

I work 44 hours a week as well currently, and I finish work at 11pm so its hard to queue that late as I dont want to wake people in my house up.
I went from Immo 2 playing like 16 games an act to now ascendant 1, its gonna take me ages to get back up ngl as my hidden mmr is still mid immortal so its not even like I can just stomp my way back up as I'm in lobbies of ex immos.

I lose 10 for a loss so i guess the idea is that if you have a 50% winrate you will climb back to your original rank but you have to play a lot for that to work

I empathize with you. I work 45 hours per week (sometimes more if i do freelance jobs).
Valorant ranked system gets worse with every act, and there's people who still defend it lol.
