G2 Is Impressive

I, like most EMEA fans, presumed that G2 was easily the weakest seed in the region. Far worse than the other 3. I also partook in the typical G2 = Gold2 jokes, but is it just me or have they performed amazingly well so far? Being able to compete with SEN and being, as of posting, far better than F4Q.
I think we need to consider them as being EMEA's best chance of winning masters, the other teams from the region have been very disappointing by comparison.
Does anyone else feel this?

My theory is that they are getting better, but their improvement is slower than anticipated considering the initial expectations that were put on them when the roster was finalised in June.

Im not sure if G2 they are the best EMEA team, Acend has a better chance in my opinion. But they are A LOT better than in the EMEA playoffs for sure

The biggest problem is that g2's map pool is not as good as teams that play together for longer.

I trust that G2 as an org would usually perform when it comes to international competition. They have more experience as an org than the other teams tbh.

its simple, they have the formula, let me explain.
Nukkye and mixwell have alot of experience from csgo.
Avova is the best pure controller in EU.
They have a good IGL.
And they have a insane young talent.
All other EU teams lack experience, thats why acend choked vs 100T. 100Thieves have one of the most experienced rosters in the world, Sentinels have great veterans too thats why they always perform great in lands while other teams that are more online will need a few more events to play that consistent.

i am on the same vibes, i think Acend and SMB are totally overrated on this event, they won't go far in this tourney.
But G2 and GMB looking like they will both make it in Semis
