Pancc openly admitted to his crime as of a couple years ago, was slapped on the wrist and is being completely slandered now. I see people saying NTK served his time and people can have second chances, this I find somewhat true and if i’m not wrong it happened quite a while ago but with a criminal record Riot probably won’t let him in the League.

I don't know about USA law but here it wasn't considered a crime. 16 years old isn't a kid. The judge decided Panc was innocent. He wasn't condemned. You can argue whether or not it's immoral but definitely not a crime.

it’s not about the actual legality of it though, the backlash from audiences would be massive and i doubt the union would be able to put up with it on a larger scale (they shouldn’t even tolerate the players on their team tbh and the fact they do is disgusting and a terrible representation of the region whether or not the team is good, people that cheer for them should be ashamed)

Optics matter more than morality, this is a company after all. If people make a big enough deal they won't play, from my perspective the cost of being a public figure playing video games for dough is keeping your moral character up, but if people don't care enough then see no evil hear no evil. That being said p sure most of these forum posts don't give a damn about the victims and are just salty they lost.

I don’t see anything wrong with Pancc since age of consent in Brazil is 14, where I come from a 5 years gap or 6 is normal as long as they are both above age of consent

i dont think age of consent is what matters

if you have explicit pictures of 16 year olds, you can still be charged with possession of child pornography -> 16 is of age of consent in the US but is still under 18 (a minor)

if an adult sends explicit pictures to a minor, they can still be charged with distribution of obscene materials to a minor or something like that

idk about brazillian laws though
