They comm in english from what i know, and Russian is a very diverse country ethnically (other than ethnic Russians, Turkic and Tungusic people also live in Russia who are more on the asian side). Jemkin's surname is also 'Batorov' which is a Turkic surname

Russia is 83% ethnically European(Slavic+Baltic Finns), however there are 100+ ethnic groups native to Russian territory that look Asian or even middle eastern. Jemkin is probably buryat judging by his surname and buryats are a Mongol tribe who speak a dialect of Mongol language so ofc they would look asian.
