Prime is defined as 'a state or time of greatest strength, vigor, or success in a person's life' it has no reference to the competition at the time, is tenz a better player than he was in 2021? definitely its just the field is much better, thus 2021 is not prime tenz. The only argument for tenz is relative to competition dominance but that isnt what prime means.

When talking about players’ prime it is always relative to the competition at the time.
Obviously players are going to get better over time
If prime truly has no reference to competition, then pretty much every player is in their prime right now or hasn’t reached their prime which is simply not true
