I mean it would be big for China because ur giving more teams international experience… not good for entertainment tho cuz the 4th slot might just get bodied

Yeah but there's a lot more incentive for those orgs to really pressure players to be good, since franchising all teams have more incentive to become good, this year there wasn't a lot of available talent but next season all regions will improve massively after poaching tf out of T2. China just has insane aimers and I wouldn't be surprised if eventually some elite gamers from other teams switch over.
sure they would have more incentive but with the level of skill at champs i dont see any team but edg even getting back groups

I actually prefer this. Champs is an even 4 per region. Each group has one rep each.
its not equal skill tho, for every other region they have four franchised and supported teams that regularly play against the best in the world while the best teams for the chinese to scrim and play are edg and maybe some apac teams
Kinda agree, but I don't think 50% of any league should be in Champs. Top 4 in China is like top 5%. Also I think China gets too much shit. EDG is the best in China, but they have lost games to ASE, FPX, and others.
