If everyone knew the truth, we wouldn't have so much evil in the world, and the process of natural selection wouldn't be enough to contain the gradual increase in birth rates. We would have around 20 billion inhabitants, and we wouldn't have enough resources to survive. It is necessary for God to be a doubt and not a fact.
