Something that I find interesting is that when Brazilian teams got shit on , everyone made fun of them and Brazilian region , but when CR is getting shit on ( granted by one of the contenders to win it all ) , everyone is just feeling sad for them , I don't see anyone hating on them
I think it's because JP wasn't overhyped as a region

because Japan is that silent kid that gets bullied so you just get sad when they get stomped, brazil is that one talkative kid in school that has rich parents and talk trash a lot but get whooped by the big boys.

I know a lot of brazilian fans talk about these things but lemme say one thing that happens a lot througout our FPS histories: we don't shine in the early times, we only get better AFTER doing a lot of bootcamps and training with NA/EU teams a lot. It happened in CS, from 1.6 to CS:GO. This happens because we don't have a lot of investiments like NA and EU teams do, that's why I disagree with that.

But I know it was just a joke so I'm just being annoying haha

They were expected to lose, we all knew they were the weakest region since Iceland, that's why. Also, this kind of beating is hard to make fun of, if you lose by 6 or 7 rounds it's kinda ok, but getting destroyed like this gives more a feeling of pity than anything else.

No they didn't? zepher and rion were even bigger bots, plus CR is playing meta right now unlike what they did at Iceland, CR has gotten much better but so did other regions

BR fanbase is so easy to hate and troll cos of their weird mob mentality. JP are new to the esports scene and just want to see their teams succeed

Also I'm aware not all BR fans are in this 'mob' so I have nothing against them in general
