they were second place in split 1 so they have 2nd place in circuit point guaranteed
but surely you need 1st place? there's like 10 challenger leagues in emea
side note: I see latam has 2 leagues. hopefully they also don't get 2 teams per league
best team from each league qualifies directly to ascension and all second places qualify to a playin tournament and whoever wins that also qualifies to ascension
so brazil and NA (two biggest viewership regions) got screwed. at least brazil has lans :/
the ascension lan is the "major" for challenger leagues. not fair for the big challenger leagues when random tiny challenger leagues get the same representation. might cause some orgs to abuse the system and move to those leagues to qualify
so diamant esports is literally playing for nothing. This points system is dumb.
