mce described his situation really well.

no matter what yay does, he cannot win ascension. there is no chance he even had a shot at winning ascension. viewers have set such high expectations for him, that no matter what he does or what happens, he will never be good enough in their eyes.

yay is already an insane player. he just needs that extra support system within the game, for him to truly succeed. if you give this guy the support system that LOUD has given aspas or FNC has given derke and i can guarantee you he would look much better than he does now. his spot in this team isnt right for him, he doesn’t have the correct support for his playstyle, in terms of teammates and igling, and his position in the team just doesnt benefit himself or his fellow teammates.

and listen to the analysts, dsg lost but yay essentially won dsg 5 of the 6 rounds that they even got on bind. he went 18/16, 7/3 on fk/fd, what more can you ask for? yay NEEDS an igl, support, and coach that knows how to play and use him to his maximum potential. ocean and exalt just cant replicate what fns, vic, crashies, marved, and chet did.

you have got to realize that this is surely easier said than done??? the pressure on him to win dsg games single-handedly and then having to play with the expectation that he drops 50 every map because he won a major last season is unreal. he is playing, he is trying to do what he can.

i don't think u understand how pressure works, pressure depends on whether u care to put it on yourself, he came to dsg to chill and have fun, give the good org a new fanbase that might be loyal, he didn't come to be super competitive.

everyone talking trash about him are just no life morons who sit on vlr.gg all day, why would he care about anyone who cannot do anything with their own lives and cannot accomplish anything anyway, if u seriously wanna improve, you'd ask people who actually know how shit works in real life, not random people on a site talking shit for no reason.
