Tenet is nolan’s best film - better than inception and you could argue The Prestige.

If you disagree you just don’t understand the film or haven’t watched it enough

( I’ve watched it 3 times the past 3 days )

Tenet is better than inception - the entire concept of tenet is better and was executed better, it’s just that people struggle to understand it

Tenet was pretty mid IMO and Interstellar and Inception clears it. But I also think its partly because both Interstellar and Inception are iconic movies and have so many iconic moments, soundtrack etc while Tenet isn't that iconic. But still Interstellar >

The concept of Tenet being hard to understand means it will never have the mainstream success of Inception or Interstellar which were much simpler to understand , especially Interstellar.

Inception however is a middle ground between the two where the question is if Mal was right that they were still in a dream , and Cobb had to kill himself. It is also clear that while Fischer was a target of the inception , Cobb was aswell , with his grandfather suggesting Ariadne so that she could perform an inception on Cobb to have him forget Mal, letting go of his guilt. It’s also possible that the whole plot of Fischer was made to have Cobb return to limbo so the inception of him forgetting Mal could occur.

Also the Tenet sound-track is great , just that it sounds poorly mixed on general headphones and speakers. Especially on the score on the fire truck was amazing.

If you need help there’s animations by Welty Coffeespill for the Car Chase, Battle at Stalsk-12 and the Freeport.

Also one of the interrogation scene by Alexander Do which is probably the hardest scene to understand

I fucking love not being able to hear whats going on but I must just be a lazy viewer because I don't want to rewind 20 times to understand the rules of the movie.

The idea is cool I guess, feels like it would be better as a hour long black mirror episode, like most nolan movies tbh.

Used to like his movies but since someone told me that literally all the dialogue in his movies is exposition I can't unhear it
