in all fairness the US processes a lot more passports than NZ but yes US bureaucracy is slow af

when he first played for eg it was 11th of may so he should have been able to get it 11th of june
tokyo starts 12th and if they get 1st seed they play later and riot could just move groups around for eg to play last
on average, and that 12 weeks doesnt count mailing times, which probably adds another week or two if you're unlucky
even if eg or riot does process his passport rn he's still not eligible to go to tokyo cus of roster lock in period or something. It's riot rules
I believe in the rules it says something about requesting permission, if demon1 could get there in time with a passport I can't imagine riot would say no?

he doesnt have a passport like people said. there are technically ways around not having a work visa but theres no way riot would let him play
only if he wants to ruin his future possibility of entering japan again since he's gonna be blacklisted by their immigration
