Don't try and force yourself to be an extrovert not healthy and could lead to depression happened to me but wouldn't hurt to try and raise your confidence a little bit even if that means talking to strangers at a park or a bar depending on your age
once you raise your confidence life gets a lot easier
also getting a job helps a shit ton

sometimes it's easier just to not overthink it and just start conversation shit goes a long way you really can meet some amazing and interesting people just by starting conversation on your own

No one is a 'introvert' or 'extrovert' by birth, socialising is a muscle, it's important to work it out,
if you 'lose energy' talking to ppl or w/e then make sure to use all your energy

but especially if your in highschool rn, people move and grow apart, you should try to make more friends with different types of people, hedge your bets

But you should know when to have a switch to becoming an extrovert and make conversations because conversation building + strengthening relationships is a big factor in the professional aspect of life. If you’re a crypto miner or sumshit you don’t need anything.

Being fr, easiest way to become more confident on your social skills is to get a job in a store. Ofc idk your culture but surely in every customer service typa job you have to make some small talk and shi with the customers. Literally a cheat code to get you out of this zone of being afraid of talking to randoms.
Just be who you are. If you're comfortable as an introvert then stay that way. At the end of the day nobody is really gonna care.
if ur fine with being an introvert then be that way, dont listen to the people that makes u think being an introvert is lame. just be urself and try to find a few good friends u can rely to, 1-2 close ones are enough. and dont be ashamed of not being able to socialize.

introvert is fine as long as you can also act normal in social situations. there is a middle ground
