I don't doubt that ZETA can bounce back from a tough position. But when you have a horde of people, basically yesmans, who will say "GG" no matter how badly the team performs, it is impossible to improve. Shame, disappointment, expectations, all of these contribute to improvement. This is why those who fail can get back up. But not ZETA.

There is a reason why I play in Singapore server despite Tokyo server being "non-toxic" like most people say. It doesn't matter if you lose 0-13, or 12-14, or 22-24, the game always ends with GG. That's good right? No toxicity at all. No passion at all. It feels like they don't even care about the game and want it to end as quickly as it can.

There is a reason why Blue Lock was made. Some Japanese people realize this but they are looked down upon because god forbid, why would you have a different opinion when everyone is saying GG? They are the 0.1% of people.

Can't believe I have to admit this, but watching North American challengers is more fun than watching any game with a Japanese team. Japanese teams heard "Pro players play a bit slowly" and took it to heart. That's why their games are a borefest and they lost a lot of rounds due to time.

And it hurts more when the scene used to be relevant at one point, and now the teams are losing to T1. ZETA got passed around like a toy and lost to almost all the teams. And DFM?

I give up. I'm beat. There is no hope for this region unless something magical happens and a team steps up who have ego and that relentless to win. And not just look good in front of the camera so all the fangirls can go kyaaaa.

I read all that and I agree, need more players that are actually have ego and ambition to win trophies.

PRX also have the same problem btw, just listen to their comms, 0 ego, joking 24/7, they are passionate but they kinda treat tournaments as entertainment source and not as a chance to be the best.

yet there is no one in the region who can actually beat prx (other than drx ofcourse), are there? so as long as there is no good team who can beat prx and take #2 from them, this region will be a 1 team region forever...its like there is a massive tiebreaker after prx and no one can cross that

Similarly, Magnus Carlsen hates losing. In chess, bad play is a bad play, no need to sugarcoat.

There's nothing wrong with playing slow if you have an idea behind it, take space on the map, exploit gaps and gather info for a final hit like prime Gambit did, Zeta don't have that dawg in them tho.

ZETA solution:

Find 20-50 Japanese duelist prospects.
Throw them into scrims against each other.
Make each player play for kills / round wins.
Narrow down the field and find the best 5.
Put them on starting lineup.

Japan must import more coaches and stuff from CIS or EU due to the lack of fps experience
the thing is you guys don't have those ex IGLs aka boomers that EU or NA have who can give knowledge to youth
Bring Engh to Zeta hes almost free, pay him good salary and he will bring you success

+1. look at NA challengers with so many emea coaches. would be hard due to the language barrier but can always hire a translator.

Where did they get this from? KR? EU? cause no one plays this slowly.
