My expectations, I just think every match on day 2 will be kinda lame and all that first day build-up will be lost.
It doesn't make much difference at the end of the day, but every match that I think could go either way is on day 1, on day 2 there are clear favorites every time.
Personally, I preferred the old one since it built more hype for Day 2
But smart move from Riot I guess, since now the 4 most popular regions all play on the opening day
its not smart at all, saturdays have much bigger viewership, but since friday is opening its probably around the same anyways. but they were legally required to do that, it wasnt intended
i don't think day of the week has a huge impact on viewership. Calling it now, the day 1 will have more viewership than any other day except the last day and maybe the second to last day.
I mean no matter what that is going to be really high quality match. Maybe should have been the last game of the day though. Usually first games should not be so high quality. To kind of build the hype up.
I'd say it's actually a less interesting game since they are in the same region and we seen them played against each other before and actually really recently
