Ok so I came across this youtube video and i saw the comments saying he was infact boosting his duo so i decided to investigate this myself. I took a look at Derkes tracker and I saw that she averaged a whopping 0.57KD in the 33 games they haev together despite having a 72% winrate together. Upon further investigation I also found that she dropped down to diamon from immortal 1 inmonth after Derke stopped playing with her... Coincidence? I think NOT!

Boosting is a myth in Valorant unless you actively play with the intention. Most people that play with friends that are higher ranks end up in higher ranks themselves, it's just a natural process.

I said it clearly, playing with friends is not boosting, when the vibes are good you climb anyways whether your friend carries you or not. Playing with an actual booster with intention of gaining ranks easily is a problem.

If you watched them play, you'd see how hard he is boosting her like it's not even funny. She gets wins in lobbies she could never ever sniff solo. Ends with 5 kills while he solos entire lobby with 38 kills.

It is absolutely possible to boost in this game and he was doing it.
I dont actually care because i dont play in that elo, but if i were in it and i saw that shit i'd be so mad because 1: u worked for it while that other person didnt, 2 : i could get that shit on my team and get brain damage frm watching that person play.
But it's still distateful.
IMO if boosting shouldnt be ok just cause u're a likable pro. Playing with your gf/bf is fun and so they should play swiftplay or unrated if the gf isnt good enough to hang in radiant without being a severe liability.

But i'm not concerned by this, not my elo, so i'm posting this one opinion and peacing out.
