I think they handled the situation well by making a Double round robin instead of giving bye rounds, this will make group D more fun to watch imo.

well that would be true if it wasnt SEN vs G2 since they will shittalk eachother. also it makes no differnce because the other way everyone wouldve played against the other 2 teams once. so we get extra matches

i think the "fair and accurate" argument is out of the window with how the groups have been set up in the first place. its more work for riot this way, but more fun for the fans too. so maybe double round robin is the better way idk.

the problem with BYE is that F4Q gets 2 chances basically, because they go to upper finals instantly. it would just be unfair

not unfair, they just got lucky with bren getting unlucky. also f4q would have to win against sentinels to make through uppers so overall it doesnt make a difference anyway,
