How did Acend go from being compared to sentinels as the best team in the world to not even being the favorites to make it out of their group in a few seeding games

They dropped a set to a T3 team in LVP and then got placed in a group with SMB, who beat them, and VS who qualified while barely using their god player LAKIA

People want VS and SMB to win, that's it. Realistically going out of groups is SMB and ACE which sucks because I love VS. People on the VS HOPIUM me included but I sadly don't think they win :(

U realize evryone has VS up there, almost every NA pro is looking forward playing against them. Imo VS is top 4

Yeah so? No hate to VS i think they are really good but I also think ACE and SMB squeak it out against them. Im not expecting a blowout im expecting OT games and it going the distance, but VS is in the most dangerous group having to beat 2 EMEA teams. I dont see it happening especially when both SMB and ACE are first place contenders.

VS has to beat only one of them tho. There is no favorite in that group imo but the seeding makes VS more favorable to qualify because they have 2 chances

VS beats PRX, imo SMB beats ACE, SMB beats VS and qualify, ACE beats PRX, and ACE beats VS. I would absolutely love it to see VS and SMB make it but the chances imo are at 55%-45% for VS to beat either EMEA teams.

If the odds of beating acend are 50 and of beating SMB is 50, then Vision strikers has a 75% chance of qualifying, if u dont count the paperrex game in

I mean who knows, the best timeline imo is to see PaperRex and Vision Strikers to make it and to see some BIG upsets.

That doesn't mean anything tbh. Obviously everyone wants to play against them when they are THE Korean #1 team (from the beginning). Everyone wanted to play them in Iceland as well, but they didn't even make it there. Its more about their imago not about how they play exactly. If you look 100T new video for example Hiko predicted SMB and ACE to get out of groups and Asuna was thinking the same, but ended up predicting SMB and VS just because ACE lost map on LVP.

they are in the death group that's for 1
secondly acend had their first defeat against smb which now are in the same group with them

anyway Imo, they are still the fav team to be placed first in that group
