Why did NRG even pick him up?
They didn't need a duelist, they already have Victor + yay was just playing chamber not even any duelists

cuz chamber meta went away, also yay buyout was worth more than the core of victor, crashies, and fns, so its better to get 3 insane players than 1 goat
I'm not saying they should had gotten yay instead

lardiis is a sentinel/duelist just like victor, so victor plays one while lardiis is the other
he was overhyped on fpx and i wonder if navi wanted to drop him for cned and thats why nrg picked them up.
the truth is Shao, zyppan and suy are the unreplaceable pieces (in terms of gameplay, not tatics. angel is a great IGL) to fpx/navi. they have a great support and any good duelist/oper would thrive in the team. NAVI upgraded from ardiis with cned. i wouldn't doubt fox/navi wanting to drop him having cned available (on a team not on franchise)
