Just wondering, you absolutely should
Bro Furia alone has lost every tournement in EU for the last 4-5 months in 5-8th place.
They're good but not EU good. Any eu team with a top 10 player of 2020 will dumpster them within 2 maps.
And liquid flukes their way to a brutal beatdown at the hands of Astralis. Also how is Liquid supposed to upset anyone in EU when they got destroyed by pain gaming in NA 2-1.
"dead game"

"Bad graphics"
obviously dude, the game was made in 2012 what do you think
"too slow"
just say you don't appreciate tactical play and shut up
"boring af"
subjective af but sure
This guy got mad LMAO
Searched for 2018 numbers lol
And that just proves that without the fans of NaVi/CIS Region and the Gaules/Brazilian teams, CS is dead out of it.
''900,000 active players'' How many of them are bots and how many are cheaters and how many are actually playing the game?
For a NA CS team to have a relevant audience, they had to hire a Brazilian and depend on the Brazilian/Gaules viewers.
Don't be mad dude, just accept the truth!
CYA
so if you take two of the biggest regions for csgo there would be less viewership? Man who would have thought? Based on your logic, if you get rid of the major audience for any game, then that game's competitive scene is dead. Plus there was still huge viewership for non-CIS and Brazilian teams dumbass
315k for Astralis vs. Vitality at IEM Global Challenge 2020
459K for G2 vs. Fnatic at IEM Katowice 2020
476k for Astralis vs. Vitality at Blast Premier Global Finals 2020
240k for Heroic vs. Vitality at ESL One Cologne Europe 2020
140K for Team Liquid vs. Evil Geniuses at ESL One Cologne North America 2020
Those are nice viewership numbers. But still, those are the two best teams competing against each other without a Valorant tournament happening, you have to admit the numbers are shifting towards Valorant. NA Masters had almost 350k people watching, when we get world tounrmanets the numbers will skyrocket. The valorant tournaments happening right now are regional, not even international, meanwhile every good team in the planet with players all over the world are playing EU tournaments righ now, meaning those numbers can't grow any further, while Valorat is yet to be at its peak this year. Believe me, the final games at the Iceland masters will be huge.
I think the problem is that valorant looks way cooler than csgo. I mean, which would you rather watch, a team lineup smokes and then tactically explode onto site, or Babybay shmeag his way onto site by spamming jett dashes and updrafts while hitting insane shots? I think the answer is insanely obvious. Also, all anyone wants to watch in pro csgo are pretty much 4 teams, NaVi, Astralis, Team Liquid, and Vitality. If none of those 4 are playing, then the viewership goes down drastically, for example IEM Katowice 2021, where the quarterfinal between NaVi and Liquid got more viewers than the Grand final between Gambit and Virtus.Pro. I hope that these two gaimes can grow along with each other and make each other better by pointing out eachother's flaws, but the difference in views comes down to the audience mostly. I am sure that most valorant viewers are casual watchers that may not be the most invested in the game but play it a little bit, but enjoy watching the highest level of play, while csgo viewers are the faceit level 10s who can appreciate the tactical play style and insane amount of skill that csgo requires, and obviously there are going to be far more casual viewers than dedicated ones.
played over 7 years css, csgo and can tell the game is just boring and i can tell many people just stick to it because they cant play other games beside this trash or they own to much skins or wanna make money with skins and stuff. Valorant is by far the better game to go atm! for me csgo looks like a trash game designed before 20 years somehow when i watch some random streams. i cant even tell people who play enjoy csgo since they play with eye cancer resolutions like stretched af just because they can hit better like this. if i play a game, i play it because i like the graphic and mechanics and not just to hit a target. every game i play is an adventure for me and csgo is just full of this ego players who just wanna show off with retarded settings they use to make things easy af. i personally cant use trash resolutions just to be able to hit a target. i would rather just quit the game. i was LEM supreme in csgo just sayin before someone says i was to bad lmao! and pro gamers follow only the money, if VAL orgs pay suddenly more than csgo orgs people will move to VAL anyway. right now we only have uninteresting and sorted out csgo pros in VAL. and i think a game cant survive when its attractive only in a single region. VAL is a game that offers you billions of strat usage while csgo looks always the same and ive never seen a game like VAL before that makes almost every region in existence interesting to watch. in csgo it didnt matter you play against chinese or americans since it was all about the same shit. who has more luck and confidence using the copy pasta strats while in VAL every single region has their own style of playing the game. a clash of different regions is 1 Billion times more interesting in VAL than csgo and people wanna see exactly this! watching csgo or playing is like watching football. 22 retards who follow a ball and this for whole 90 minutes lmao!
Yea, I used to.
But I stopped because of a getting to know the completely different multiplayer game (League of Legends) and getting bored of the CS:GO.
Valorant was the best combination that I wanted to see. Previously, I played a little Overwatch, I like the idea of the abilities in fps games.
And when the Riot had said that it will be the fps with the bombsite-type game with the abilities, I felt that might be the best game for me.
The highest rank that I got was Supreme (and have got 3000h in this game), in Valorant I'm Diamond 2/3 rn.
I still think CS:GO is the OG, but Valorant is closer to my heart.
Yes, but I play Valorant instead now because of how many cheaters are in CS, I ran into one around every 6 games.
I still think CS has more satisfying gunplay and higher mechanical skill ceiling.
However, Valorant keeps it fresh with new agents, and I'm excited to see how the game will develop. Whereas CS has basically not changed in years.
My wishlist for Valorant:
-better maps in the future (the ones in CS are more interesting imo, I really dislike split but the other maps are ok, ascent is probably my favorite)
-higher skill ceiling for gunplay (some combination of increasing consistency of spray pattern, increase movement speed, decrease tagging but keep aimpunch for headshot, nerf run and gun more)
