Why Canadians like Val?

I feel like Overwatch is better match for them, more anime, happy game set in fun colorfull countries like Japan.

But they pick grey and dark game like Val. Why?

As an honest answer:
We have a lot of asian americans and thats one of the biggesr demographic of Val players in NA.

TenZ, Wardell, Marved, Shanks, Poised, etc.

I think the anime aspect draws them in or something.
