They joined franchising and even tho the teams from indo, their first franchise roster was all ph and 1 indo, now ts 3 ph 3 indo

but you know the GE squad now is strong enough right? not for RRQ. if they took Tier 1 PH players (like TS) it's 100% OK. but they took tier 2 players. And everyone knows that Indo superteam (combination ONIC and BOOM (LCQ Finalists)) is much stronger than this.
RRQ is the one oldest esport team in SEA, but somehow they are blind and doesn't really care about PC gaming anymore after mobile invasion
But that's literally all Indo org except Boom, it's still a business and everyone (except Boom) just decided to focus on where the market is.
the only Indo org that care about PC games, is only Boom Esports. Coz of their owner has 100% passion since CS day. and also peoples behind the org is fully experienced with PC games. If they get the partnership, im sure it's 100% better than RRQ
They was keep their previous 5 ph rosters, which is not even a t1 ph team and only sign 1 Indo.

It's because the owner told the fans that they will become an Indonesian team but they only have 1 Indo player even though the finalists from APAC lcq is all Indo player and the ph player they sign is from the old roster that didn't even qualify to APAC lcq. So the fans are angry that they're being lied to and couple hours later they drop 2 of the ph to sign 2 more Indonesian but it's to late and the fans didn't support the dropping of 2 of their player since they screwed them.
And now most people just wanna see their downfall no hate to the players doe since its their job.
As much as I wanted PH players to play with RRQ, I cant blame their fans to be mad and not get a full indo roster. Maybe there's a reason during trials that we don't know. But nonetheless, it is the org that should be blamed not the players
WE KNOW the reason. the owner simply does not want to lose PH market + keeping old roster is much cheaper.
This is the real reason IMO. The "too expensive" reason the CEO said is just an excuse to hide the real reason since they actually spent some money on the team production.
They want the PH market, but they just disband their LoL : WR division so Valo is their only PH division now. Making it a full Indo would means quitting the PH market and they probably don't want that since they already investing on GH, staff, etc. That's why they just recently open MLBB PH division so if they want they can switch to full Indo roster for valo.
i don't really follow other esports but this makes sense, definitely one of the reason.

fucking delusional, AP literally said it has to be a mixed roster way before the trial. i would choose ph duelists with indo core too if i were ewok and have to make a mixed roster.
The CEO only said mixed roster, he never say which and how much player from each country, ewok literally choose 2 duelist tho, it can be monyet and ejay or monyet and kellys or monyet only, it's on him and he chose ejayy and kellys
we never know for sure what the management told ewok to do. What we know is monyet has more achievements than the pinoy counterparts and he even performed way better than them in the trial according to all the leaks. There is no way ewok actually choose them over monyet and other Indonesian players without some kind of intervention from the management.
it's my personal opinion, I think the beside forcing mixed roster, mistake made by rrq management is almost lose lmemore, and I dont think they do intervention, but I guess we'll never know what's exactly happen behind the scene
i don't know if u were here when all of that happened, there were this app floating around here that can read players' career and monyet literally carried in all the trial. Also, i think his english is better than tb, flipz, and lme so I can't think of any reason not to pick him.

It's not just because they brought in ph players. It doesn't matter if they take an outsider, but that player should be of better quality than the current one.
If he wants a PH player or any other outsider, at least it's a tier 1 player in his country. But RRQ comes with ph players whose quality is still below the great players in their country, and even in Indonesia there are still many players who have much better quality.
They don't seem to give a shit abt pc eSports, if it were upto RRQ upper management they would probably treat the val division like a sidejob.
the original was already mentioned, cheaping out of players and doing shady contracts forcing Riot to intervene. they're only in for an easy money hence they keep the old roster despite objectively bad (the only achievement was winning A MALL tournament IN OFF SEASON where team was taking break)

This cause fans to be mad, it's even worse bcause these old PH roster is not even some of the best players from PH. Fans are wondering why not just sign an already proven players, like players from BOOM esports? Then rito gave some of the franchise teams a warning, we don't know what team, but we can safely assume it's RRQ who got the warning.
