15 years minimum. From what I know internet is a problem, so is parents not letting kids pursue pro career. So prolly not until this generation becomes adults and their kids are allowed to take esports seriously. Basically an entire generation behind.
stop with the population bro, youve got players like sk rossi and teams like vlt and ge making a name for the scene, let them mature the scene a bit. more people doesnt mean magically more better players, there are more factors that go into making a scene a major one.
Its not to do with the high population,
In india, people look down upon these kind of occupations. Being an esports pro is not respected in the normal traditional indian household.
Unless indians mature in these senses, india has a very very long way to go until it is a major esport hub
Its not about the occupation, now a days whichever occupation gets a decent income is accepted the main motive is the parents want their children to have a stable future once the person is making decent income, parents support it too
