Round differential

Isn't seeding for MSI decided by record -> Round differential? Does head-to-head matter at all or is it for tying in round differential?

Faze has -4
Oxygen has 0 (beat faze)
TT has -6 (lost to faze)

Right now, anyone can still get into MSI, which is wild. TT and Oxygen can both still get in, despite whoever wins based on rounds and record. As long as it goes to 3 maps, there is a decent chance both get in. Gonna be hype as fuck.

TT needs more than +2 rounds to pass faze in seeding
Oxygen can only lose -4, cause I assume they'd win in a head-to-head round differential with Faze.

False,
OXY is already in cuz if its a tie breaker it goes H2H first
Rnd diff is just for seeding

It goes to H2H first? Thank god actually. I was under the impression from everything that h2h didn't matter.

sadly it isn’t, H2H doesn’t matter only RND.

In the event that multiple teams ties in Split 1 Group Standings to qualify for Mid-Season Face Off, the order of tiebreakers to determine who advances are as follows:

    ● Example. Team A has a 2-0 record, Team B has a 1-1 record, Team C has a 0-2 record. Team A will advance.

  2. Round Differential between the tied teams
    ● If the teams are tied in record, Round Differential between the tied teams matches will be the determining factor.
    ● Example. Team A, B and C have 1-1 records vs each other, Team A has the highest Round Differential compared to Team B and C, Team A will advance.
