After spending few days, making few posts and commenting on some of them at the r/ValorantCompetitive subreddit, I've come to a conclusion that

• The subreddit is full of snowflakes.
  You can't constructively criticise any player/org/riot etc. or you'll be downvoted to hell
• You've to make comments and posts by sugarcoating them. They don't like true and bitter statements.
• Most of the members don't even have proper knowledge about the game, the VCT circuit as well as how Esports in general works so the comments most of them make are pretty brain-dead.

So I find VLR much better than that shitty subreddit as people here are not cringe, don't sugarcoat things and are not snowflakes.

Except for few basement dwelling lifeless creatures here, I heckin love VLR community as whole.

Dude I think riot employees are half of the people there.

Vlr have full of shitty baiters can tilt pro players while reddit have dedicated backseat analysts ( some became coaching staffs of val teams)

Both are trash for a variety of reasons including the way moderation is treated on VLR, but this community is debatably less toxic/more troll than r/ValComp.

Problem with that subreddit is that 99% of the posts is about NA.
Also most people there have a huge NA bias

r/ValorantCompetitive has no freedom of speech at all

Both are decent, but overall the subreddit feels like having way higher % of clueless people. Like here you have people who bait, but in ValComp there's genuinely people with most random opinions and believes when it comes to the topic. Maybe more casual fans? Also its way more NA biased.

but overall they aren't really comparable IMO because both have their uses. like Reddit is better for post-match discussion, but VLR clears in live discussion and off topic stuff etc IMO.
