the few people in the scene with his caliber of understanding are coaches and analysts, he is so lucid and articulate too. we are so f***king lucky we have him as a streamer

Go watch Lothar or TMV then lol, they're plenty knowledgeable and are extremely critical. Sliggy looks at the positive of every team, and actually understands why players make the plays they do. He calls out the bad plays, but does it in a way where we can at least understand the thought process and don't just think a player is a moron.
It’s because he used to be the observer back in CS days and most notably coaching a valorant team for over 1 year. God knows how many games he has watched up to this day besides on his stream
his streams are so valuable, unfortunately when i try to implement that in ranked games i just get shut down by my teammates xD
I call alot of round winning spawn/link pushes in ranked and its super annoying when no one listens.
sadly he made it clear that he wont cast :( , the amount of stuff i learned from him since he started the costreams in 2021 is mind blowing

sliggy fits very well into analytic co-streams but casting wise I don't think it would be the easiest transition to being on the main broadcast. Co-streaming targets a very different demographic the main cast as a product has to be more general and approachable. It's a tool to create story lines bring excitement to games, make moments happen that mean something. It's almost incomparable the two.
Casters are not meant to go in depth and analyse every round closely, casters are there to hype up what is happening and give a surface level explanation of what's going on. Sliggy is an excellent analytical mind, which is a totally different skillset to being a caster
