I think you can definitely make an argument that NRG were the second or third best team of the tournament considering how strong they looked and how closely they played LOUD. I think that they have the best calls and FNS is the best IGL in the game, but they were a little lacking in firepower compared to a team like Loud and it definitely showed in that OT on fracture.

to be fair, victor got spammed through smokes an obscene amount and it probably ruined his mental
Also yeah, theyre the two best cores along with probably the old FPX core

every team spams smokes

ardiis knew 5 or 6 smoke pixel spams in split, got a lot of kills like this and still lost the map

you gotta be prepared even for the luck of you opponent if you want to be world champion

go rewatch the vods. it wasnt like vic was sitting in smokes in obvious spots and got spammed. it would be he would walk around a corner where a smoke was and got insta 1 tapped accidented within miliseconds. no pro player coukd avoid this

Loud Navi DRX(Could make an argument here) and Fnatic were better than NRG so not really second or third tbh

I really don't see how Fnatic was better than NRG, even though they had a good run so far they faced weaker teams compared to NRG. DRX is also pretty equal to NRG, both almost won against LOUD. NRG was one round away from getting to qualifiers

If NRG won that 3v1 when it was 12-11, which they should have, there would be no question. Now that LOUD is in the finals, small brains want to question how good they truly are.

Yes, Victor had a rough game, if he was on point, it would have been over. Games like that happen, doesn't mean anything. Make this a double elim w/ lower bracket and we'd probably see NRG in the lower finals and then onto the finals.

To be fair, any team can win on any given day if they are on point. The game is too competitive to make a statement on who is the best. It is a collective of different teams at the top right now.

Koi Giants Loud might be the toughest route out of them all
KOI is a very strong team and Giants is solid, Loud is arguably the best team itw and just won champs

It would have been sick if NRG at least on the other side of the same bracket so we could have watched them in a bo5 today. Best case is they are in the other bracket and we get a NRG v LOUD grand finals. Rematch from champions almost.
