Thoughts on C9 and yay parting ways?
yay more useful on other teams c9 roles have too much overlap having yay on sage is criminal
i feel like this is the same opinion as when they were announced and now that we see it just didn't work out like it was expected to, its fallign apart
I just don’t get why yay would agree to get dropped like, where does he go at least in NA
agree to disagree no way not one team in NA doesn't want the most consistent player ever rn
He was #1-2 jett itw before chamber meta, get your facts straight. Shittalking na and memeing is one thing but lying is another.
He had same kpr and adr as nats at masters Berlin, you can shittalk yay all you want but he was great on jett. He's not really a true entry player like deffo(or something but something doesn't count cuz he plays in t2 jp) but he is good oper user and he frags out.
I could see him going to a Brazillian team again so he has people surrounding him with a similar mindset
Tbh I'm still not sure this is real. I think there's a 50/50 chance it's an elaborate troll.
Im sure he wants a dedicated IGL similar to FNS
Vanity seems too casual, but there's also rumors of him being dropped too so idek what to think
Time will tell
(Also i wanna see that 100T flair)
I don't think Yay liked the vibes of the team honestly, plus it wasn't a team built around him (which it should have been). Like, look at how C9 used him. Exactly the same as Optic in theory, but with much less support since Vanity can't control the map like FNS can. So, instead of Yay being on a lurk to get 1, then the team capitalizing on the space, it became Yay gets 1. C9 used Yay terribly, and I think he understood that it was a system with him in it, where no single player was being fully capitalized on. He had to be unhappy to leave. Just a question of what does he do now, and what does C9 do.
C9 should probably flip back to Leaf on a Jett role and bring in a sentinel / lurker.
Yay might, might, have some chance in Europe or Asia with a richer roster, but I think NA is too concrete right now. Maybe EG? Probably not. NRG ain't gonna do ardiis like that. 100T ain't gonna do Cryo like that. Sentinels know that Tenz is committed and still a solid player at the role. I just wish good luck to him, he'll need it.
KOI yay instead of wolfen might work KEKW, although they should replace starxo with an anchor player as well, and there are no tier1 anchor players not in franchising already, signing someone like vokashu might be risky.
Yay is an amazing person, and an excellent player. But he needs to understand that valorant has evolved, he needs to have more agents as options
I hope that yay can find a place in tier 1 scene and come back on other agents/roles. Atm i feel like his legacy is define by chamber.
