Prolly some of the players were taking games more lax while yay wanted to be serious

From a performance aspect, there's no reason to kick someone of yay's caliber

Role issues possibly, lots of teams were formed with the chamber meta in mind (sentinels included) and didn’t realize he would be completely useless

THAT isn't the problem. the issue is that yay doesnt play neon, raze or phoenix, and his sage looks mediocre at best and he doesn't really shine in the roles he plays. but i dont even think that it was the reason why he got benched, i think it was because of mindsets. yay wanted to win, c9 just wanted to have fun. they might as well become a streamer team tbh.
