It is true yeah, I haven't heard about a Badam but the rest is true. Our main language is basically Bahasa Malay with some influence from Dutch, English, Greek, Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Sanskrit, and Tamil. The other hundreds of native languages are different, though

Honestly idk about the Hinduism part bc I don't know much about it. But I think the center of India's hate is because of India=dirty India=dirty street food. That kind of content tends to get millions of views on here
i could be wrong but i feel there is this soft racism among most asian countries for each other, there is no history of slavery like african americans in US by white people so it is not blown out of proportion but in my experience there is tension between them.
i have an indian friend, it always blows my mind when he notices a lot of similar words when listening to us speaking indo. Even words like perdana menteri (prime minister)
