imo i think their problem is they are too structured if that makes sense.. great teams see their set plays and come up with multiple counters and then drx looks lost.. they either need to become less reliant on their plays and learn how to play off script or think of possible counters and come up with counters for opponents counters LMAO

once again, imo

I am out of hope. PRX which was dubbed as Asia's best during Copenhagen are on a God-given mission to not use any strats whatsoever and consistently lose all games. DRX once again losing because of bad mental. ZETA is going to do the same thing (also playing against Leviatan). It is GG. Something wrong with this region, we cannot win. RRQ is the only light in the darkness. #VIVARRQ

they just play based book strat, if we compare how optic vs drx looks like, the comeback by fns reading drx previous match strat

their set plays are what make them a great team, if an opponent can use and abuse that against them then it's probably a top-tier team anyway, strengths have trade-offs

You can make all the theories you want in the end C9 is winning because they are the better team is that simple. This playstyle discussion is boring too me C9 are much more coordinated in everything they do.

i mean it was c9’s map pick so im not jumping to that conclusion unless they get destroyed on haven too

You're right, but they have worked on being more flexible. After changing from Zest igl to Stax igl they became more adaptive and began incorporating rotations a lot more in their strats. It's not where they need to be, and Stax himself said it in Yinsu's interview (about the team as a whole not being where they need to be yet), but I know they won't stop working.

It's all talk i think NA in this tournament is just the strongest region and DRX can make all the changes they want does not change that they come from a weaker region and they play weaker overall teams.

I kind of agree with you. DRX is from a weaker region and they scrim weaker teams, but that doesn't mean they don't have a chance regardless of the changes they make. Nor is using regions an excuse for DRX's failure. They should be playing better. I don't fault them for losing against C9 but they shouldn't be playing that poorly. America is definitely looking dominant this tournament though. That's undeniable.

not really overreacting just saying what they need to do to win the series and like i said it was my opinion and they look way more adaptive and less structured on haven so i guess

I think the opposite no? they literally had set plays to take the site EVERY time against c9
