- Paper rex
They had good micros but the macro on both maps were shit - Team heretics
I wouldn't have been surprised if Evil Geniuses won but I was expecting a closer match or at least closer maps - mibr
Talon Esports destroyed them even with a substitute
true, istg can people just stfu on "where's pati" stuff, he literally haven't played in like a year yeah I know he used to be the best asian player and all that but cmon man, pati has a wrist injury and he's not intended to be in the starting five anyway
he’s going to end up just like Seoldam, whether people want to admit it or not
yeah i was happy seeing garnets play because there was no way talon would be better playing with pati who like you said, has a wrist injury + hasn't played for a year. garnets also isn't even that bad he's pretty good imo
I'm suprised he's returned to overwatch and retire because of the injury and yet he's make another u-turn but it's to valorant? Damn
as someone who doesnt follow the BR scene, what went wrong with mibr? im just curious because they screwed my pickems...
They are just not in the others level, the team was supposed to be other but then ended up like this when they lost Cauanzin and Mwzera to Loud and Furia.
Heat, Mwzera, Cauanzin, RgLM, Frz would have been a Superteam.
But they still had other players to choose. Personally.
Heat/Havoc, Liazzi, Murizzz, CTC, Frz would have been my team.
In my view:
So many mistakes that even in the Latam gods tournament last year, they with 1mounth team didnt do.
Face the most unpredictable team in the tournament, Talon Is a dangerous team to face in a single elimination first match.
Lack of igl to make the team chill, Heat was confident and showed a great performance but every time he dies after getting vantage.
Unpredictable rounds by Talon, 4 rounds that they won with the "stunned" kills, round 10x10 jit boys 3 kills stunned should be a 5x3 for them if he didnt have these lucky shots, talon will break their economy and lose.
In general, imo Mibr didnt show they full potential
do you think that mibr needs a roster change to bring in some better BR talent? other brazilians seem to think so.
I dont think so, i think that Jzz is a great talent, Frz is solid and constant, Heat still perform well even losing every time, Rglm Second best controller in Brazil, but Murizz, i cant handle this guy, if you see the same mistakes as Vk last year, even with bzka, its because the igl is making something wrong. Bad retakes organization, bad calls, bad decisions, they need some type of Saadhak to say stop for the bad decisions.
yes they need
JZZ never played well in VCT BR
Murizzz isnt even close to good IGLs
heat, rgl and frz is a good core to build from
One thing i can say is that the Vivo Keyd core is a little overhyped by brazillians imo, RgLM is still too raw, murizzz was never really great in international tournaments and heat is great mechanically but still makes the same mistakes he has always made.
All that + people overrating bzka because of loud's success, made the expectations for this team way too high
Edit: those are just some of the problem i had with the team going into the tournament, there's probably some more things i didnt consider or dont know about
yeah i didnt really think about bzka coaching the team actually, but it didnt seem to make much of a difference.
Most of the brazillian comunity knew that bzka's role in old loud was more people management, while the in game stuf was mostly from sacy and saadhak. I dont think that was ever clear for english speaking fans
PRX
MIBR
KOI
KC and heretics I didn't expect much from. But they still fell below my expectations.
furia is not in the alpha bracket and they haven’t even played yet
nvm they meant furia
KOI?
Bro they are a new form team with very little practice...
What did you expect?
expected to lose i assume, the team looked weak from the beginning. xnfri is the only promising player on the team imo.
i think PRX fell off since they got 2nd on copenhagen , everything b4 copenhagen they play like nothing to lose with no expectation to win and surprise everyone , now that they tasted beihg "on the top level" they got the expectation to have to stay on top and changed their mindset the way they play
So many people picked EG over TH it was not disappointment
And you all forgot how good xerxia was
MIBR...
Didn't expect a coach with a champions title to be such a dogshit coach...
Did you see the game?
There was such shitty coordination and teamplay...
This is something that the coach must teach.
Are you silver or what?
This is not some 5v5 aim battle...
bro saad and sacy said that bzkaa didn't know much about strats...bzka was much more of manager than a coach...saadhak said that in franchising he would like a real coach and bzka could be an assistant bzka didn't wanna this and left...so you've your answer.
he isnt dogshit
but he really needs to improve as a coach
but most of MIBR problems (in those matches) relates to patience and comms
they played worse than expected, individual mistakes happened a lot
crws lurked the SHIT out of them and they seemed deaf to him (or never expecting when they definetly should)
was just so weird
heretics were not that good
they already lost to
team secret 1-0
100T 2-1
vitality 2-0
PRX 3-1
liquid -nats - redgear + meddo + enzo 2-0
What did you expect when you have mixwell and avova on the team.
Both are washed up tier 2 players.
These are the types of players that end up in franchising while good players like BaddyG and 7ssk7 are stuck in acension...
