NA has 5
SA has 5
All 5 regions did equally well last year.

Also if NA had 10 teams, those 10 teams would be so much stronger than the EMEA 10 on average

Crazy how EMEA has like 4 times the population and player base of NA but they still get clapped 😹

That being said, I think the 5 teams will actually benefit NA to a degree since there is obviously a higher concentration of talent. Still wish there were a couple more slots because it was definitely deserved. And frankly, the fact SA gets 6 slots in ascension and NA gets 2 is fucking ludicrous

Doesn't really matter since only 1 will go to franchise, and the top 3 na will not miraculously win ascension

It does matter... more representation in the actual tourney means more chance to win, just purely based on statistics... and if it's double elim, they might end up playing each other. Plus, 2 teams from each major region go to franchising, which exacerbates the impact even more.
