They are probably just skipping whole split 1, and will only have a 2-3 month long split 2. I don't mind if that's what happens

They might probably skipping whole split 1 and will jump directly to split 2. I'd say its good for the teams to further build more chemistry and time rather than playing without team chemistry.

not to mention that by the looks of things, some (most?) pac leagues are not using a points system for their splits, but instead just invite the top x teams from split 1 to split 2, basically rendering split 1 useless anyway
