People talk about agent roles alot of the time.
But I think ingame roles need to be talked about
Though the roles of both loosely match up
What are the attacking side roles?
- entry Fragger : the player who is first contact on attack
- support:. A player that supports the team via offensive and temporary utility (flashing)
- lurker?: Player that looks to find openings in the defense to flank
- the rest I'm not 100% certain
Defending side:
- anchor: a player committed to a site, rotates last.
Op? Slightly awkward role but seems to act as a secondary role to an entry due to the need of quick movement ability
IGL: sort of a permanent secondary role? Doesn't change throughout the game.
Any roles I'm missing out on? Or any fundamentals?
Or is it impossible to delegate roles due to the major differences in maps and their playstyles?
