Is the format of the Quarterfinals "Home Ground" format or a classic bo3?

Where every match is a bo5 but if you win your "home ground" map the game ends. So it technically could end as a 1-0 (I think?)

No not exactly. Basically each team picks a map, they play them and if a team manages to win their pick and the other team pick the game ends so it's 2-0. If after the two maps it's 1-1 then it's played out like a regular bo5

yeah i knew i had something wrong there. its not if they win their home ground, but if they win the other team's home ground.

They can't play 5 bo5 on the same day, idk who decided that but he is crazy. I'm glad they changed it, less Valorant but more quality Ig

Nvm I think Semis are Homeground again, quarters no. Bro Red Bull is driving me crazy, they moved one of tomorrow's games to fit it xDD

i think the finals will be tomorrow and that might be a normal bo5, because a 2-0 finals would just be boring.

it would be a bit harsh on the qf teams to make them play a bo3 then (possibly) a bo5 immediately after, so maybe they have 100T vs VIT/TH today and C9 vs TL/KRU tomorrow. but then it isnt fair for C9/TL/KRU, since they might have to play 2 bo5s in one day. Therefore, this probably means that the matches today and the semis might just be normal bo3s, because the schedule doesnt allow for 2 bo3s and 2 bo5s to be played today, and in the interest of fairness, having a semis game tomorrow isnt fair either, unless both semis games are played tomorrow (in which case they can be bo5s or played with the homeground format) and the finals are played on monday (as a normal bo5).
