true, they're probably gonna remove one of the oldest maps in the game when there's a new map in the future so that it's fair and follow the cycle of rotation of new and old maps, not from community feedback.
also it's probably not going to be ascent. if you don't know ascent was actually the first map that got added into the map pool, ascent was not the part of the original three maps (split, haven, and bind) that are from the beta and ascent only got added into the pool when valorant was officially released.
so my bet would probably be bind 100%
I really don’t see Ascent or Haven being out of the pool for a very long time. The meta on these two maps is never the same (unlike bind or shitty breeze) you’re able to actually flex agents on these maps unlike almost every other map where you need to have certain agents
pretty much every map in valorant is like wallbanagble
even on icebox theres heaps of walls which can be wallbanged and people dont really know about
well you can die from a lot of directions on both sites because of wall bangs which doesnt happen on other maps the percentage of wallbangs made by fades and sovas on ascent is just something to laugh about you cant just not break a arrow or a fade reveal or youll get wall spammed by 5 mfers when you trying to entry, plant or to defend, retake a site.
Im pretty sure theyd just bring split back and not deactivate a map

Ascent still got the breakeable doors. I think they remove bind because the tps in bind rarely work, and because its a bad map in general
99% sure next map will come in as well as a reworked Split, and Bind and Haven will come out (because they are the two oldest and Riot wants to keep game as fresh as possible), keeping pool at 7. Would be shocked to see anything else.
Please remove Haven I’m tired of begging someone to watch garage and wall/trap B which they most of the time don’t do which then leads the lurker to get multi frags and losing rounds
they still have to remove the og maps that came before official release, ie bind, haven. most likely haven cuz even if its 3 sites, most people just hit up A and C, and B is complete annihilation.
Why would they remove the maps from Competitive though, just do that shit for tournaments man I miss Split
Bind or Breeze. Ascent & Haven have more variety in terms of agent comp, I can flex to smoker and cover my weakness also I can run cypher too if I want to chillax
