True. Its actually so common to see people instalocking Reyna, Jett or Chamber and then complain when people are not willing to fill in for them.
if they will not fill then why they play? i instalock every time and if someone was first, i will fill

Yeah been there, i've always played smokes since i started in valorant but at the time it was by own decision (when i played with friends).
With soloq or duo/trio, those duelists started to appear... the true valorant experience lol
Also they expect you to be the fragger (?)
edit: also for the record, i stopped playing for like 3 months. I came back for some matches this weekend with a duo, and i swear ranked is worse than ever (in plat).
I always lock sova,kayo,omen,Astra,viper and chamber mostly. I am one of the good guys🙂

Ranked fukcing sucks tho, teammates always be complaining about everything when you misplace your smoke by 2 centimeters 😹💀
I will fill one match...if I win I continue filling...however if i lose I insta lock duelist the nextmatch

waiting until ur whole team has picked and going for a 3rd duelist instead of smokes is worse than being an instalock duelist

I don’t like playing duelist cuz you basically HAVE to perform well or otherwise you’re baggage.
my golden rule is I get in a game with 3+ instalocks I will lock whatever I feel like playing and not what they want. Not my problem if we dont have a smoke they shouldve thought of that before deciding to instalock.

i find that its better to always just fill cause its better to bite it and lock to win the game rather than lock a third duelist or no smokes which helps no one on the team cause at least if u fill smokes ur chances of winning r higher
Atleast your instalockers talk in game. It’s always a ghost town in my lobby. Sometimes I wonder if the people i’m playing with are real person
Tbh id rather have 3 duelist that vibes and comms than an instalock and a controller fill that doesnt know how to play and in general a toxic lobby lol
Honestly nothing wrong with asking if they are not forcing it, doesn't matter if they are a instalock or no
you're right but sometimes it feels like they are forcing you. and if you dont listen to them they'll blame you for the entire game
