Should i fill or not?

(ranked)in agent select i only hover and lock last so i can pick a role my team needs most
however this usually leads to me playing an agent i "know" how to play, but i am not comfortable on them which i feel hurts my gameplay, aim and util-usage wise.
is it better to just lock in early so i can play someone im confident on instead of waiting and picking whatever agent has utility my team is missing?

instalock. not necessarily a duelist or chamber, but whatever you are the best at. in the 20% of games where you make the difference between win/lose, you don't want to be on an agent you're just OK at. you are the only thing that doesn't change game to game.

If you’re in low elo, just lock your agents

If you’re in high elo, just let others choose and you fill

depends on ur elo and who ur locking. instalocking smokes or like fade/sova, yeah in any elo. if ur low elo and solo then lock whatever but dont be surprised if you have no smokes. if ur duoed then lock a power duo on every map if you can, ie. jett breach.

personally i have 2 picks for each map that are actually good for that map. and try and insta my best pick for whatever map every time. so dont like insta phoenix on breeeze cuz ur a good phoenix, pick like skye and sova as ur breeze picks and always try and lock your best of the two. if not then fill for comp

only use fill roles if your team actually responds in agent select Playing team centered characters when team is not communicating is not good. sometimes you would perform better on your most comfortable agent rather than fill but that depends on rank also
