so I just watched the 12 minute preview of the upcoming makoto shinkai movie, and honestly it's pretty decent. they use CG in this movie, but it's not really that noticeable and the CG was not that bad. and as far as the first twelve minute goes, it's kinda... meh? I get the grasp of what the first act's gonna look like just from the first twelve minutes but tbh it's not really that attention-grabbing nor the animation was like your name level. Also I can't help but noticed that the female MC is very similar to the Kimi no Na wa's female MC. but still I'm really looking forward for this

btw does anyone know when's this movie is gonna be released internationally?

Watched it already, kimi no nawa still the best one.

The most important thing for me is that they keep RADWIMPS for the soundtrack
the goats
As long as the soundtrack can give that impact and convey emotions like Your Name/Weathering with You's soundtracks can, then im sure itll be good

Maybe it will be released next year internationally? To be honest, Makoto Shinkai production has god-tier animation and art, also RADWIMPS to produce such amazing musics for them but the storyline is so meh. I still watch them though, I don't know why. :(

they always use cg for background right
