CS MAJOR FORMAT < VALORANT

so a lot of ppl saying that cs go format is better than the valorant ''major'' (champions) but now knowing both ways i still prefer valorant...in valorant's format we see more matches...it give the opportunities for ''minor'' teams improve throughout the competition and also bo5>bo3 always speacially in the finals.

more matches? i dont think so literally you are only watching playoffs or something, but the major starts from the challengers stage fyi, but i agree with the bo3 on finals i didnt get why they did that, its bullshit.

I think group stage like LoL worlds is most fair imo. Swiss format reward fluke teams too much, val format is the same

i think round-robin group stage & single elim bracket with bo5 gf is the best, in group stage minor teams have a lot of opportunity to improve and with single elim you avoid same big teams playing with each other + all bigger events use single elim cuz each match is more important and hype

double elim clears single elim
there is no hype when there is no such thing as an insane lower bracket run like zeta in iceland
